Firefox integration (or CLI support)?

Post by bbrodriguez »

Is there a way to integrate Load! in Firefox? For example via context menu, so user can right click on (text) link and have option like "Download with Load", or something like that?

Can Load! be used from command line?

That would require an add-on for Firefox. We don't have anything like that, sorry. Also Load! does not have any CLI method to work with.

Are there maybe plans for Firefox add-on or CLI in the future? IF Load! would have CLI that would mean that it could be used from Firefox through some other FF add-ons.

Not at the moment. It's nothing we ever considered, sorry.

Load! does have rudimentary CLI support -- I'm not sure it will suffice for what you want to do.

"Load.exe /add" feeds the current clipboard contents to the Link Collector. Right now there's no way to pass a link, but it'd be simple enough to add support for that.
